Donato Occhilupo

Freelance journalist. Graduated in International Relations at Sapienza University of Rome, he completed his postgraduate studies with a master’s degree in Public Affairs, Lobbying and Corporate Communication at LUISS University with a dissertation on game theory applied to collective actions. During his career he has worked with public institutions and private entities, developing skills in managing institutional relations and planning advocacy and lobbying campaigns. After starting out as an analyst at the Institute for Competitiveness (I-Com), during the 17th Legislature he served as a political and legislative advisor to the Secretary of the Industry Committee of the Senate of the Italian Republic. In 2018, his professional career continued at Link Campus University where he supported the President of the University in Institutional Relations activities and in the development of the Third Mission Office, for which he was the contact person until 2021. In the last two years he has been in charge of Fortune Italia’s Institutional Relations, strengtheningits relations with institutional representatives, strategic stakeholders and key figures on the national political scene. At the same time, he worked on the editorial section ‘The Lobby’ entirely dedicatedto the Public Affairs sector. Since 2023 he has been an Honorary Fellow in Public and InstitutionalRelations at LUMSA University.
